Naomi has been teaching various printmaking techniques for the past 6 years at Birmingham City University but specialises in letterpress. Using traditional craft skills all prints are meticulously hand set using movable metal & wood type as a way of illustrating or design. Each design is hand inked with a brayer with ink that has been mixed with a careful eye to match pantone colours, the design is then printed using a proof press. Each print is tactile, you can feel the ink sitting on the paper and the impression the type leaves.
